Annual Booksale

The first SCM Otago Book Exchange was in 1930. It is a non-profit venture with the aim of providing reasonably priced textbooks for students. Half of the proceeds goes to local organisations that find it difficult to get recognition or funding, such as Corso, Rape Crisis, St Martin’s Island Community and environmental groups. The other half goes to running SCM Otago. The Book Exchange takes place at the Art Society, on the corner of Albany and Great King Streets, and the dates are:

Receiving books for sale:

Monday 24th February to Tuesday 4th March (except Sundays), 10am-5pm

Selling books:

Friday 28th February to Thursday 6th March (except Sundays), 10am-5pm

Do you want to be one of the Book Exchange volunteers?
Come along to the Art Society during the Book Exchange or call Mary (471 2270) or Ulrika (477 6650).
