| 1-8 July 2001 - The highlight of the SCM yearLiving Together: National Conference 2001 was organised by SCM Auckland and looked at relationships between groups, such as interfaith, inter-racial including biculturalism and gender issues.
Information available before Conference is below. It will be at Te Karaiti Te Pou Herenga Waka, Anglican Church Marae, 35 Cape Rd, Mangere East, Sunday 1-Sunday 8 July 2001. Pillows and mattresses provided - bring the rest with you! Please fill in the registration form at the bottom of this page. The Conference Timetable is here. As per usual, travel subsidies will be available if you provide your receipts and invoices to SCM. There is still money available for travel, get in touch with the National Administrator natsec@scm.org.nz or 021 805 941 if you need subsidy. The Conference registration fee is $75, but lack of funds should never be a barrier to participating in SCM activities. To get to the venue from the airport, get an airport shuttle and the conference will pay for it when you arrive. A Senior Friends event will occur at Conference on the Wednesday at 7:30 pm. If you are an Auckland Senior Friend who didn't get an invitation then it is available here. Please click "Update your details" on the left to send us your current address. AGM of SCMAConference will also feature the AGM of SCMA (Inc). All financial members of SCMA can participate in the consensus process. If you would like to receive the Agenda and Reports Book in advance make sure that your current contact details are held at the Office ("Update your Details" button on the right), and/or register for Conference 2001. The minutes of the 1999-2000 AGM are available in the members resource area here. If you are an officer of SCMA please remember to submit a written report in advance. A fill-in-the-blanks form is provided here (html to view and print | Word 6.0 doc to download) but you are encouraged to write a full report if possible.
